Sure, you want a pure, natural soap. But, are you still unknowingly buying laboratory chemicals to clean your skin? Take the challenge with our artisan made, ACEQUIA® natural soaps versus Softsoap® from Colgate-Palmolive. Read the labels and look for the red flags.
Let's start with body wash ...

Now, let's compare hand soap ...

The differences are rather startling, aren't they? Really, what do you want to put on your body?
It is always important to READ THE LABELS, and when you're ready, there's a simplified list of more than 400 ingredients unacceptable for Premium Body Care (PDF) provided by Whole Foods Market (WFM). Included on this list of nasty chemicals are parabens, polypropylene and polyethylene glycols, sodium lauryl and laureth sulfates. The WFM 'standards' are a good way to cull out the chemically produced body products by the listed ingredients.
Consumers should be vigilant and read every label! We also suggest a visit to the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics Skin Deep database created by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and the Environmental Working Group. There you will find links to information about natural products and their chemical counterparts.
